Dalai Lama is on Twitter. Don’t you believe this? Well it is true. ReadWriteWeb broke the news of Dalai Lama joining the social networking site Twitter. You can follow Dalai Lama on twitter at @OHHDL and it is maintained by The Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Update: Twitter contacted the office of Dalai Lama and announced that this is a fake account. Thank you Syed Sardar for the tip.
The first tweet was posted on 2009-02-07 at 22:01:22(around 17 hours ago) and it says
Welcome to the official Twitter page of His Holiness the Dalai Lama – administered by The Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
In just over 17 hours time his holiness the Dalai Lama managed to attract 7,172 followers and there are 25 updates so far.
So if you want to say Hi to Dalai Lama head over to @OHHDL[Updated:link removed].
