The latest release of Google Docs for Android provides the most requested mobile workers feature – ability to access documents offline and sync them automatically when connected to the web.
With the offline access capabilities of Google Docs, Android users can pin the documents to be available offline and edit them even though they are out of network coverage area. The modified documents are automatically synced up when the device connects to a Wi-Fi network. If documents needs to be synced over data connections, users can manually sync them.
