Microsoft offers to students in US are back and this time with most popular gaming console: free XBox 360 with the purchase of Windows 7 PC priced above $699. If you are a student in US or at least can borrow a student email id that ends with .edu, you can grab a free XBox 360 4GB console priced tagged in the market at $199.
In a blog post Microsoft says that this is the time most of the prospective college students look for new computers and they want to offer free gaming consoles to fill their thrust for education and entertainment.

There is not doubt that this is great offer for students and others who are looking for new Windows 7 PC. Last year Microsoft offered Windows 7 OS at $29.99 for students and I got one license from one of my friends who was a student then. So even though you are not a student, it’s time to check your friends network for students and avail of this offer.
