The Windows 7 RC will be out anytime today on 5th of this month and Microsoft has finalized the minimum requirements for Windows 7 PCs. The minimum of Windows 7 more or less same as Windows Vista and here they are:
32 Bit Windows 7 Minimum Requirements
- 1GHz processor
- 1GB RAM
- 16GB hard disk space
- DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
64 Bit Windows 7 Minimum Requirements
- 1GHz processor
- 2GB RAM
- 20GB hard disk space
- DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
Anyone planning to run Windows XP mode should have at least 2GB of RAM and an additional of 15GB hard disk space.
